Bonspiel Accommodation and Tours is proving to be popular in our area of Central Otago. It all started during the filming of the movie “The Lord of the Rings – the two towers” in our location. The filming staff needed accommodation in the area. So we decided to give our place and that was the beginning. Then, we entered into the accommodation business and now we are providing best accommodation services Moa Creek, Central Otago. We had an old pub on the corner of our place, we cleaned and organized the pub and turned it into a holiday stay for families. In order to go with the market trend, we turned our old workers' cottage into a stay. We also have some gold mining huts for the people, who love to stay in a rustic environment. These stone huts belonged to the people gold mining here in the 1860s.

Bonspiel is based at Moa Creek, which is the southern end of the Ida Valley in Central Otago. The Ida Valley is a farming area. The place is still visited by a lot of tourists and NZers, who go to the Poolburn Reservoir for fishing and visiting the place where The Lord of the Rings was filmed.(A film made by Peter Jackson). We take people on a 2-hour tour to Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers. So, stay a couple of night here and enjoy the sightseeing.
